The alignment made this a natural next step for both companies,” said Ervins Grīnfelds, co-founder and Co-CEO of TestDevLab.\nEuropean activity in software-testing and adjacent quality-assurance fields during 2025 shows a steady flow of investment, with UK-based Synthesized raising €17 million+ to expand its AI-native test-infrastructure and test-data platform, and Germany’s CERPRO securing €2 million to advance AI-driven industrial QA workflows.\nAlthough neither are from Latvia or the wider Baltics, they illustrate a broader trend of ongoing investment into testing, verification and AI-enhanced QA capabilities.\nWithin this landscape, TestDevLab’s acquisition by Xoriant represents a consolidation-driven development rather than new capital raised, positioning the Latvian firm alongside a wider movement where established QA providers are being integrated into larger engineering groups seeking deeper expertise in automation, model-validation, and safety-focused testing.\n“With TestDevLab joining Xoriant, we’re bringing intelligence and quality even closer together.
